We are seeking a proactive and skilled Building Maintenance helper to ensure the optimal operation, safety, and functionality of our facilities. This role involves assisting in performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Paint, touch up interior/exterior walls, and patch basic drywall damage outside of active production lines.
- Replace building lightbulbs, clean facility utility fixtures, and keep structural tool storage rooms meticulously organized.
- Transparent outdoor walkways, manage localized plant waste disposal zones, and execute seasonal exterior property maintenance tasks.
- Perform basic facilities plumbing support such as clearing minor drains or adjusting washroom sinks and fixtures.
- Adhere strictly to plant Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety protocols to protect food manufacturing integrity.
- Report any observed structural hazards, roof or water leaks, or potential sanitation threats immediately to the maintenance manager.




- Assist with heavy lifting or retrieving tools.
- Perform other duties, tasks, or special projects as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.

Job requirements:

- High School Diploma, General Education Development (GED), or equivalent.
- 0 to 1 year of general handyman, construction helper, commercial janitorial, or warehouse experience.
- Strong physical capability to stand for long shifts, lift up to 50 lbs comfortably, and climb facility ladders safely.
- Absolute willingness to strictly follow hygiene requirements, including wearing required PPE, hairnets, and beard nets.
- Basic knowledge of tools
- Able to communicate in English

Pay: $18.00 per hour
