Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated PSW (Personal Support Worker) for a live-in role, committed to providing exceptional care and support to individuals in need. Responsibilities

- Provide personalized patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote comfort and dignity.
- Support medication administration following prescribed schedules and safety protocols.
- Assist with meal preparation, ensuring nutritional needs are met and dietary restrictions are followed.
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning living areas, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in meaningful conversations and activities.
- Assist with mobility and transfer techniques, including heavy lifting when necessary, to prevent falls or injuries.




- Monitor health status by observing changes in condition, reporting concerns promptly to healthcare professionals.

Requirements

- Proven experience in assisted living, nursing homes, home care, or hospice care environments.
- Strong background in senior care and working with individuals with disabilities or dementia.
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and patient safety standards.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks.
- Excellent caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and solid communication abilities.
- Valid certification as a Personal Support Worker or equivalent is preferred; relevant training in caregiving is essential.
- Flexibility to work live-in shifts that may include weekends or holidays as needed.
