Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Exterior Cleaning Technician with hands-on experience working outdoors on residential and commercial properties. Experience with gutter cleaning, window cleaning, pressure washing, soft washing, exterior property maintenance, landscaping, construction, or snow removal is strongly preferred.

The successful candidate will help us finish out the busy upcoming gutter cleaning season and continue with snow clearing during the winter months. You must be dependable, safety-conscious, physically capable, and comfortable working independently while also leading and supporting other crew members.

Experience with soft washing is considered a strong asset. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a company van equipped with a professional soft wash system and performing exterior cleaning services safely and effectively.

Please note: Snow clearing hours are weather-dependent and full-time hours are not guaranteed during the winter months. Snow work may involve limited and irregular hours depending on snowfall and weather conditions. Additional seasonal exterior cleaning work may be available throughout the year.

Responsibilities

- Perform exterior cleaning services to a high professional standard, including gutter cleaning, window cleaning, soft washing, pressure washing, and other property maintenance services.
- Assist with and eventually lead a small crew,



ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards.
- Conduct site and safety inspections before beginning each job.
- Work safely at heights, including on ladders, rooftops, and other elevated areas.
- Operate and maintain equipment such as pressure washers, water-fed systems, backpack blowers, snow throwers, shovels, scrapers, and other tools.
- Communicate professionally with clients and address basic questions or concerns on site.
- Ensure company vehicles, tools, and equipment are kept clean, organized, and in good working condition.
- Monitor inventory and report damaged or missing equipment.
- Help coordinate the crew and ensure work is completed efficiently and on schedule.
- Safely clear snow from walkways, entrances, decks, and other assigned areas during snow events.
- Be available for early morning starts, weekends, holidays, and changing schedules during snow events.
- Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a high level of professionalism.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

- Previous hands-on experience in EXTERIOR CLEANING or EXTERIOR PROPERTY MAINTENANCE is strongly preferred. Experience specifically with gutter cleaning, window cleaning, pressure washing, soft washing, or similar exterior services is a major asset.
- We are looking for someone beyond entry-level who can demonstrate good judgment, initiative, and the ability to take responsibility.
- Leadership qualities and the ability to quickly step into a crew lead role.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent and responsible driving skills are essential.
- Ability to safely operate a company vehicle and potentially take a company vehicle home each night.
- Strong work ethic and pride in delivering quality work.
- Reliable, punctual,



honest, and trustworthy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Comfortable working at heights and using extension ladders.
- Physically capable of lifting approximately 50 lbs and performing demanding outdoor work throughout the workday.
- Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Able to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.
- Snow removal experience is an asset.
- Working-at-heights experience is an asset.

Snow clearing is seasonal and weather-dependent. Winter hours are not guaranteed to be full-time and may vary significantly based on snowfall, weather conditions, and customer demand. Candidates should be comfortable with limited or irregular hours during periods without snow.
