We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic (Apprentice/ Certified) to join one of our clients located near Acheson, AB.

Pay: Up to $50/hr, depending on Apprentice Level, plus annual bonus.
Shfit - Days/Evening

Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in heavy-duty trucks and trailers.

- Troubleshoot electrical, lighting, brake, hydraulic, and air systems.

- Repair or replace components such as axles, suspensions, hubs, seals, and bearings.

- Perform CVIP and safety inspections.

- Perform basic welding on steel and aluminum trailers.

- Complete required service and inspection documentation.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Level 2 or Level 3/4 Heavy Duty Mechanic experience/certification preferred.

- Previous experience working on heavy-duty trucks and trailers.

- Robust knowledge of mechanical, electrical, brake, hydraulic, and air systems.

- Basic welding skills are an asset.

- Ability to safely perform physical duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working at various heights.
