Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Plumbing Estimator to join our energetic team. This role offers an exciting chance to contribute to project planning and cost management for plumbing installations. The ideal candidate will leverage their construction estimating expertise, strong project management skills, and technical knowledge to deliver accurate bids that drive successful project outcomes.

Duties

- Prepare detailed plumbing cost estimates by reviewing project plans, specifications, and blueprints using tools such as Bluebeam.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to negotiate pricing and scope of work to ensure competitive and profitable bids.
- Utilize HeavyBid or similar estimating software to develop accurate project budgets and proposals.
- Analyze construction documents and perform quantity take-offs for plumbing materials and labor requirements.
- Assist in project management tasks by tracking costs, updating estimates,



and ensuring alignment with project timelines.
- Conduct site visits as needed to gather information for accurate estimating and to verify existing conditions.
- Maintain organized records of all estimates, bid submissions, and related documentation for future reference.

Skills

- Proficiency in construction estimating software such as HeavyBid or equivalent tools.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and installation processes within the construction industry.
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Effective project management abilities to coordinate multiple bids simultaneously.
- Experience with Bluebeam for digital plan review and markup.
- Construction experience with a solid understanding of industry standards, safety protocols, and building codes.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients, vendors, and team members throughout the estimating process.
