We are looking for a dependable and experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join our team. We specialize primarily in commercial HVAC construction and are looking for someone who is comfortable working on active construction sites installing ductwork and related HVAC components.

This is an installation-only position. We do not perform shop fabrication or welding. The majority of our work consists of commercial duct installation on new construction and renovation projects.

Responsibilities

Install commercial HVAC ductwork and fittings

Install rectangular, round, and spiral duct systems

Install grilles, registers, diffusers, dampers, and other HVAC components

Install hangers, supports, and related hardware

Connect ductwork to air-handling equipment, fans, furnaces, RTUs, HRVs, and other mechanical equipment

Read and understand mechanical drawings and specifications

Measure, lay out, assemble, and install ductwork in the field

Coordinate installation with other trades on site

Use hand tools, power tools, lifts, ladders, and construction equipment safely

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Follow company and site safety procedures

Complete work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship

Qualifications

Previous sheet metal or HVAC installation experience preferred

Commercial construction experience is an asset





Ability to read mechanical drawings is an asset

Comfortable working from ladders and aerial lifts

Able to lift and handle ductwork and materials

Able to work independently and as part of a crew

Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain regular attendance

Strong attention to detail

Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation preferred

Own basic hand tools preferred

Apprentices and experienced journeypersons are encouraged to apply.

What We Do

Our work is primarily commercial HVAC installation. Typical projects include commercial buildings, apartment and condominium projects, offices, retail spaces, and other construction projects.

Our employees work mainly in the field installing ductwork supplied for the project. There is no shop fabrication and no welding required for this position.
