Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in an industrial setting. The Industrial Electrician will ensure that all work is performed safely and in compliance with local codes and regulations.

Duties

- Assist with improving and maintaining plant electrical, instumentaion and automation systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using logic controllers and other diagnostic tools.
- Work with low voltage systems as needed for various applications.
- Assist with planning and scheduling of electrical preventative and corrective maintenance work.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on renovation projects to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
- Adhere to safety protocols while working in various environments.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding project status and requirements.

Skills





- Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding schematics related to electrical systems.
- Red Seal Electrician certification perferred
- Experience in an manufacturing/industrial setting
- Experience with low voltage installations and troubleshooting.
- Plant maintenance experience with the ability to build and renovate as necessary.
- Familiarity with industrial electrician practices and standards.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency
