We are seeking a companion to help keep dad on track with his physiotherapy exercises and walking. Dad is regaining strength however needs to be reminded to use his walker and needs encouragement to keep moving in order to keep his mobility.
Responsibilities
- May need some assistance in daily living such as grooming
- Assistance in the performance of physiotherapy exercises
- Assistance in completing two daily walks using a mobilty aid
- Provide companionship and dialogue
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry and maintaining a safe environment
- Document care activities, observations, and any changes in health status clearly and promptlySkills
- Solid understanding of dementia care strategies
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with family members
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Language:
- Hindi or Punjabi (preferred)
