Finance Manager - Mississauga, ON

Our client is a energetic organization seeking a skilled and motivated professional to join their team in a key financial role. This position will report to the General Manager and play a pivotal part in maintaining the financial health and integrity of their Canadian operations.

Responsibilities

- Maintain precise and compliant financial records in accordance with standardized accounting principles.
- Collaborate with onsite and international finance teams to ensure clean, reportable financial data.
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accrual adjustments.
- Support audit processes by preparing documentation and addressing inquiries from auditors.
- Partner with leadership and sales teams to review expenditures and rebate programs.




- Develop and manage annual operating budgets and capital expenditure plans in collaboration with plant leadership.
- Calculate and submit tax payments accurately and on time.
- Assist in financial forecasting and long-term planning initiatives.

Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting roles.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel (ex. Macros, PivotTables) and financial modeling.
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional designation such as CPA or CFA is preferred.
- Experience in tax calculation and compliance an asset.

Pay: $85,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
