Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Plumber to join our construction and maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems, along with related skills in mechanical knowledge, carpentry, HVAC, and construction. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial and residential settings, ensuring safety and compliance with building codes. The position offers opportunities for skilled growth and development within a dynamic environment.

Duties

- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in new construction and existing structures
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and repairs
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics to complete tasks efficiently
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely during installation or repair projects
- Conduct basic math calculations for measurements, quantities, and material estimates
- Assist with carpentry tasks related to plumbing installations or renovations
- Operate commercial vehicles for transporting materials or equipment as needed
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members




- Collaborate with other trades such as HVAC technicians or electricians when necessary to complete projects

Requirements

- Proven experience in plumbing installation and repair within construction or maintenance environments
- Mechanical knowledge of plumbing systems, schematics, blueprints, and schematics reading skills
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and basic assembly techniques
- Knowledge of carpentry, HVAC systems, and construction practices is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Valid driver’s license with experience in commercial driving preferred
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Commitment to safety standards and procedures at all times

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.00-$56.00 per hour
