Tri-Spec Construction Inc. is a agriculture/commercial construction business in Central Alberta. We are a fast growing construction company that prides ourselves in making the building experience for clients an enjoyable one with top quality workmanship.

Tri-Spec Construction Inc. is looking for skilled journeyman carpenters, apprentices and labourers to join our construction team. We specialize in agricultural building in Central Alberta and have a few jobs currently working in the County of Ponoka. The ideal candidate will have previous construction experience in concrete forming, flatwork, wood framing, metal and vinyl cladding as well as experience operating and using different construction machines and tools. The successful candidate will work closely with senior building staff, will be able to meet project deadlines and care about their quality of work on all construction projects.

Usual work days are Monday - Friday 7am - 5pm

Duties

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to execute project plans accurately
- Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and machinery safely and efficiently for various construction tasks




- Assist in concrete forming, finishing, and restoration projects to create strong foundations and durable surfaces
- Perform carpentry tasks as needed on-site

Requirements

- Proven experience in construction work with a strong understanding of building processes in agricultural environments
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams confidently
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery safely
- Knowledge of concrete forming, finishing techniques, and carpentry
- Robust physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety protocols and quality standards
