Job Summary

We are currently hiring Packaging workers for a busy meat production and processing facility in Mississauga. The successful candidates will be responsible for packaging and handling meat products while following strict food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform packaging and production tasks according to company procedures
- Package, label, and prepare meat products for distribution
- Handle ready-to-eat (RTE) meat products in accordance with food safety procedures
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures at all times
- Follow instructions provided by supervisors and managers
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced meat processing setting
- Perform repetitive packaging and production duties




- Complete required food safety and hygiene training

Requirements

- Rubber, steel-toed boots are mandatory
- Previous meat processing, food manufacturing, packaging, or warehouse experience is an asset
- Working knowledge of English to understand and follow workplace instructions
- Comfortable handling and packaging meat products
- Ability to work in a refrigerated environment of approximately 4°C
- Comfortable performing repetitive production and packaging duties
- Reliable and punctual
- Must be willing to follow all food safety and hygiene requirements

Pay: $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 42.0 – 46.0 per week
