Job Summary - Looking for a big-hearted, loving, caring, and outgoing individual to become a live-in supportive roommate for our wonderful adult daughter. Our daughter has a developmental disability and requires a dedicated peer to share a home, help her live safely, and build her independence. This is not a traditional caregiving shift job—it is a unique, relational role centered on community and companionship. Requirements - Be a supportive roommate for a 45-year-old female in Red Deer. Active seniors and retirees who value peaceful living, companionship, and opportunity for tax-exempt supplemented income are welcome. Prepare meals, ensure proper nutrition, coordinate her daily living activities. Maintain a clean and safe environment. Provide emotional support, building a warm, respectful, and trusting roommate relationship. Must have a drivers licence and a vehicle.

Qualifications - Caring and loving personality, outgoing, patient, sense of humour. Ability to perform home cleaning duties as part of the role.



Good communication skills. On the Job Training and external also available to expand skills set for this position. Self-motivation. A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle are required. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Must be willing to provide a clean Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sector Check and a Driver's Abstract. Note - Salary is tax exempt and home is fully furnished with internet, cable and all utilities are included.

The Shared Living Arrangement - Private bedroom in a beautiful, fully furnished 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom home. aring Contribution - In lieu of rent, you will be charged a nominal fifty dollars per month cost-sharing contribution to assist with household overhead including cable, high-speed internet, heat, and power.
