Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and knowledgeable Customer Service & Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will assist customers in finding the right hardware parts and accessories, provide expert advice on paint selection and mixing, and process transactions at the cash register. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, has practical hardware or DIY knowledge, and thrives in a hands-on retail environment.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

- Customer Assistance: Greet customers warmly and help them locate the exact hardware fittings, tools, or parts for their projects.
- Paint & Color Matching: Assist customers with paint selection, offer basic application advice, and operate paint-mixing equipment accurately.
- Cashiering & POS: Process sales, returns, and exchanges quickly and accurately using the cash register / POS system.
- Inventory & Merchandising:



Restock shelves, organize displays, and keep aisles clean and safe for shoppers.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up to date on store products and hardware solutions to provide helpful recommendations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Customer Service Focus: Strong communication skills with a polite, patient, and helpful attitude.
- Hardware & DIY Knowledge: Familiarity with basic hardware parts, plumbing/electrical fittings, or hand tools.
- Paint Expertise: Prior experience with paint sales, color matching, or mixing (preferred).
- Cash Handling: Basic math skills and experience operating a cashier system or POS terminal.
