We are expanding and seeking to add a dynamic and detail-oriented Certified Dental Assistant to join our vibrant dental team! In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional patient care while supporting the daily operations of our practice. Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are ready for patient procedures
- Assist dentists during various dental treatments, including exams, cleanings, restorations, and orthodontic procedures
- Take dental radiographs (x-rays) using Cleardent software
- Manage patient records efficiently using Cleardent software ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Provide excellent customer service as a dental assistant greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and answering inquiries
- Educate patients on oral health care practices, post-treatment instructions, and preventive measures for pediatrics and general dentistry
- Maintain a clean, organized work workplace while adhering to infection control protocols and OSHA standards
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Dental Assistant from an accredited program with current licensure or registration in process .
- Proven experience with dental assisting procedures and patient care in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Cleardent.
- Fluency in English and knowledge of a secondary language such as Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, Spanish or Arabic is an asset.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
- Experience of dental assisting is an asset , New grads are welcome as well .
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
