Job Title: Supportive Roommate / Shared Living – Live-In Support

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and responsible Live-In Support provider to join a shared living environment, offering ongoing in-home support to adults in care. This role involves being a supportive roommate while helping with daily routines to promote independence, safety, and community participation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support daily routines including meals, household tasks, hygiene, and independent living skills.
- Follow established health, dietary, medication, and safety plans.
- Maintain a safe, clean, comfortable, and respectful shared home setting.
- Support independence, personal choice, privacy, dignity, and individual rights.
- Assist in fostering relationships, family connections, recreation, and community involvement as appropriate.
- Be available to provide the ongoing in-home support as outlined in the individual’s plan.
- Communicate health, safety, behavioral,



or significant concerns promptly to the coordinating agency.
- Complete all required documentation and incident reporting accurately and timely.
- Participate in monitoring, reviews, and planning sessions with the coordinating agency.
- Adhere to CLBC Shared Living/Home Sharing standards and the specific Live-In Support agreement.

Qualifications:

- Experience working with adults in care or supportive living environments.
- Valid First Aid certification.
- Clean Criminal Record Clearance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect individual privacy.
- Reliable, patient, and understanding nature with a genuine interest in supporting others.

Compensation:

- Monthly pay of $2,460, with $700 deducted for rent, reflecting a supportive shared living arrangement.
