Registered Practical Nurse - RPN

Location: Goderich Place Retirement Residence
Pay Rate: 37 CAD/Hr
Job Type: Casual / Part-Time

KEY - Compliance Requirements

Due to Ontario regulations, candidates must have the following documents before starting shifts.
Candidates who already have complete compliance documentation will be prioritized for upcoming shifts.

Required Compliance

- Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) - issued within the last 6 months
- 2-Step TB Test - issued within the last 6 months
- COVID-19 Vaccination Proof
- Influenza Vaccination Proof (current season)
- RPN Diploma
- CNO registration number
- CPR and 1st Aid
- N95 Mask Fit Test
- WHMIS Certificate
- Worker Health & Safety Awareness (WHSA) Certificate
- Government-issued ID
- 3 Professional References

Key Responsibilities

- Provide nursing care to residents in accordance with LTC standards and facility policies
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor residents' health status and report changes to the healthcare team
- Document care and maintain accurate clinical records
- Support and supervise Personal Support Workers (PSWs)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality resident care
- Follow infection prevention and control (IPAC) practices
