We are looking for a responsible Pharmacy Assistant/Technician to join our team

Experience:

- 1-2 years of experience in a pharmacy is preferred.
- Knowledge of Kroll is preferred.

Job Description:

- Receive new and repeat prescription orders in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures
- Counting and preparing medications
- Preparing blister packs
- Keeping the dispensary clean, organized and neat

- Answer telephone, ensuring that appropriate telephone etiquette is observed at all times and referring to a pharmacist when necessary
- Checking off, pricing and putting away pharmacy orders.

- Stocking Prescription filling supplies (Vials, labels, bags)

- Contact physicians’ offices as needed (e.g. for special authorization requests etc.) and maintain all relevant documentation

Pay: $17.60-$21.00 per hour
