RSS Inc. is urgently hiring Warehouse Lead Hand for their leading clients' warehouse located in Oakville, ON

Candidates must have strong experience in managing team, working on computer and operating a counterbalance forklift in fast-paced cross-dock warehouse environment

Candidates MUST be eligible to work up to 40 hour/week or more on SIN

- Near Highway 403 and Upper Middle Rd E, Oakville, ON

Weekly Schedule (Mon - Fri)

- 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM

Specific Duties

- Managing a team of warehouse workers to ensure smooth operations on daily basis
- Managing reports, emails, paperwork, etc.
- Computer savvy with experience in Microsoft Office, emails, etc.
- Supporting the supervisor and manager for operations
- Drive a Counterbalance Forklift in a safe and efficient manner in a cross-dock busy warehouse environment
- Loading and unloading trailers, stacking, moving skids etc.
- Moving damaged products to designated physical location
- Follow all health and safety protocols
- Performs any other duties as directed by the supervisor or distribution manager

Qualifications:

- At least 4 years of similar warehouse operations experience
- Experience managing a team in warehouse operations
- Computer savvy with experience using Microsoft Office, email, etc.
- A valid license to operate Counterbalance forklift
- At least 2 years experience with Counterbalance Forklift in a cross-dock warehouse workplace
- Training and coaching warehouse operations staff like dock workers, forklift operators, etc.




- Cross-dock warehouse forklift experience preferred
- High school or equivalent
- Able to read, write and understand English
- Above average attention to detail
- Able to lift around 40 to 50 lbs as required
- A clear criminal check required
