About the Role: FasTreat is looking for Medical Doctors licensed in Ontario, British Columbia, and/or Alberta to support our growing virtual Hair Loss Treatment service.In this role, you will assess patients experiencing hair loss, determine treatment suitability, develop individualized treatment plans, and prescribe appropriate medications where clinically indicated. Care may be delivered through both virtual consultations and asynchronous clinical reviews, where appropriate.You will also have the opportunity to provide clinical input as we continue to refine our hair loss intake, treatment pathways, prescribing protocols, and patient education.Key Responsibilities

- Review patient intake forms, medical history, medications, photos, and other relevant clinical information.
- Assess common hair loss presentations, including androgenetic alopecia.
- Develop individualized treatment plans for male and female patients.
- Prescribe appropriate hair loss treatments, including oral, topical, and combination therapies where clinically appropriate.
- Provide patient education on treatment expectations, medication use, potential side effects, and treatment duration.
- Identify red flags, contraindications, and patients requiring further investigation or specialist referral.
- Review follow-up and refill requests through asynchronous or synchronous care as clinically appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Provide clinical feedback on FasTreat's hair loss intake, treatment protocols, and patient journey.

Qualifications

- Medical Doctor with an active licence and in good standing in Ontario,



British Columbia, and/or Alberta.
- Independent prescribing authority in the province(s) of practice.
- Experience in hair loss, dermatology, family medicine, primary care, men's health, or women's health is preferred.
- Familiarity with treatments such as minoxidil, finasteride, dutasteride, and topical/compounded therapies is an asset.
- Comfortable assessing both male and female patients with hair loss.
- Experience with virtual or asynchronous healthcare is preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills.

Compensation

- $130–$180 CAD/hour for independent contractors.
- Compensation may vary based on qualifications, relevant clinical experience, and scope of practice..
