Prima Academy – Markham, ON

Prima Academy is a growing music and arts school in Markham, Ontario. We are looking for a passionate and experienced Vocal Teacher to join our teaching team.

Position

- Part-time Vocal Teacher
- Teaching students ages 4 to adult
- Private one-on-one lessons
- Beginner to advanced students
- RCM exam preparation and performance development

Responsibilities

- Provide engaging and structured vocal lessons based on each student's level and goals
- Develop students' vocal technique, breathing, pitch, rhythm, musicality, and performance skills
- Prepare students for performances, competitions, auditions, and exams when applicable
- Communicate professionally with students, parents, and the academy
- Maintain a positive, encouraging, and professional learning environment

Qualifications

- Strong vocal training and performance background
- Previous teaching experience preferred
- Formal education in Music, Vocal Performance, Music Education, or a related field is an asset
- Experience working with children and youth is preferred




- Ability to teach a variety of musical styles is an asset
- Reliable, patient, and professional
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Schedule

Flexible part-time hours, with availability during weekday evenings and weekends preferred.
