Shift time: Monday - Friday from 2:50pm- 10:50pm

Compensation: Rate of pay starting at $22.26/hr + shift premium, progressing to $23.16/hr after 4 months.

About the Position

The Wash Operator is responsible for washing metal parts to remove dirt and oil and making sure everything meets safety and quality standards.

Job duties

- Set up and operate department equipment efficiently to ensure continuous production.
- Load and unload bins on machines and transport materials between departments.
- Weigh products and accurately record information on paperwork.
- Perform changeovers on equipment as required.
- Conduct basic preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment when necessary.
- Clean equipment, bins and maintain fluid levels as needed.
- Monitor process effectiveness and test wash solutions.
- Report any equipment or process issues to the Supervisor or Lead Hand.
- Dispose of waste appropriately, including fluids and recyclable materials.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

General Qualifications/Required Skills

- Ability to set up, operate,



and perform basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on wash equipment.
- Knowledge of safety devices, wash systems, and standard safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions, document work accurately, and communicate effectively with supervisors, lead hands, and team members.
- Able to operate a forklift.
- Ability to identify and address concerns, including issues related to wash solutions and equipment.
- Proficient with basic computer skills for documentation and reporting purposes.
