Are you a Class 1 Log Truck Driver looking for steady, year-round work, excellent compensation, and robust support on the job? Martushev Logging is hiring in Whitecourt, AB, offering competitive pay, a wash bay for truck maintenance, and conveniently located field and shop mechanics to keep you moving while working within a 160 km radius.

Competitive Pay & Bonus Structure:

Earn $53.54 per cycle hour

28% of the trucking rate, based on:

4.30 tonne/hr by net payload for a 6.5-hour cycle time or greater

4.25 tonne/hr by net payload for anything less than a 6.5-hour cycle time

Retention Bonus:

Earn an additional $2.00 per cycle hour—paid at the end of the season! (Must complete the season to qualify.)

Work Location & Shifts:

Based in Whitecourt, AB

Shifts may include nights from the start

Accommodation arrangements available for those needing housing

Wash bay available for truck cleaning and maintenance

Field and shop mechanics conveniently located to provide support while working within a 160 km radius. ELD Exempt.

What We’re Looking For:





3+ years of experience as a Class 1 Driver

off-road and winter driving experience

Mechanically inclined – able to troubleshoot minor truck issues

Log hauling experience (preferred but not required)

Clean Commercial Driver’s Abstract

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
