We are seeking an experienced and reliable Class 1 Long-Haul Truck Driver to operate tractor-trailer combinations on routes between British Columbia and the U.S. West Coast, primarily along the I-5 corridor. The driver will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of freight while maintaining compliance with Canadian and U.S. transportation regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Operate tractor-trailer combinations safely on long-haul routes between BC and the United States.
- Drive primarily on the I-5 corridor through Washington, Oregon, and California.
- Transport refrigerated, temperature-sensitive, and general freight as assigned.
- Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer.
- Monitor and maintain appropriate temperature settings for refrigerated loads.
- Secure cargo and ensure freight is properly loaded and transported.
- Complete daily logbooks, trip inspections, bills of lading, delivery documents, and other required paperwork.
- Communicate with dispatch regarding pickup and delivery schedules, delays, weather, traffic, and mechanical issues.
- Follow all Canadian and U.S. Hours of Service regulations.




- Safely cross the Canada–U.S. border and maintain all required documentation.
- Maintain a clean and professional driving record.
- Report accidents, incidents, equipment defects, and other safety concerns immediately.
- Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of the assigned truck and trailer.
- Provide qualified customer service at shipper and receiver locations.
- Comply with company safety policies and all applicable transportation laws and regulations.

Employment Requirements

- Valid BC Class 1 Driver's Licence.
- Minimum 1–2 years of commercial truck driving experience .
- Experience with long-haul, cross-border, and refrigerated (reefer) transportation is an asset.
- Ability to operate tractor-trailer combinations safely in varying weather and road conditions.
- Ability to operate and monitor refrigerated trailers, including temperature controls and reefer units.
