Cullen Diesel's Surrey BC location has an immediate opening for a Field Service Mechanic .

Applicants must have the following qualifications:

1. Current Volvo Marine Engine training and experience.

2. Detroit Diesel and MTU Engine training and experience.

3. Good electrical & electronic skills.

4. Valuable computer skills.

5. Marine and Industrial experience would be considered an asset.

6. Large Diesel Engine (S2000 and S4000) experience would be considered an asset.

7. Detroit Diesel two cycle engine overhaul experience would be considered an asset.

8. Be prepared to work in other departments as required by workload demands.

9. Be prepared to work all shifts as per the union agreement.

10. Required to work out of town on a short notice.

11.



Be self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision and have excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.

12. Have a good customer relation’s record.

13. Possess good oral and written communicative skills.

14. Applicant must be aware that they will be required to be on call and on a rotation basis.

15. Applicant must participate in all web base and instructor led trainings.

16. Applicant must have MTU Electronics training and experience.

- It is preferable that applicants have a class 1 driver’s license with an air brake endorsement; however, a Class 3 driver’s license with an air brake endorsement will be acceptable.
- Have current passport, as out of country training is required.

***The successful candidate will be asked to participate in Basic First aid training***
