Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Apprentice Heavy Duty Mechanic in their third or fourth year to join our growing team. In this role, you will inspect, analyze, test, repair, and maintain a variety of heavy equipment and machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety. If you have a strong work ethic, a collaborative mindset, and leadership skills, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

- Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment, engines, machines, and rig fleets, utilizing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine repair needs.
- Order parts and manage inventory effectively.
- Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts.
- Maintain detailed maintenance reports and documentation.
- Test repaired equipment to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications.
- Clean, lubricate,



and perform routine maintenance to prevent future issues.

Requirements:

- In an apprenticeship program for Heavy Duty Mechanic is an asset
- 2-3 years experience as a Heavy-Duty Mechanic is an asset
- Valid CVIP License is an asset
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficient in basic computer operations, including opening and closing work orders.
- Time management expertise, with a willingness to work overtime when needed.
- A professional, customer-service-oriented attitude.
