Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) – Sedation & Surgical Care

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Part time Registered Nurse (RN) to support patients undergoing IV sedation and oral surgery procedures in a professional and patient-focused clinical environment.

Schedule

- Part-time position
- Wednesdays and Thursdays
- Schedule will alternate with other RN team members to provide coverage and flexibility

Responsibilities

- Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after IV sedation procedures.
- Record and maintain accurate vital signs and patient documentation.
- Assist the surgeon and surgical team during sedation and surgical procedures.
- Administer medications and IV therapies within scope of practice.
- Provide post-operative patient care, education, and discharge instructions.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and potential medical emergencies.
- Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and sedation protocols.
- Maintain emergency equipment, medications,



and clinical supplies.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a safe and positive patient experience.

Qualifications

- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in British Columbia.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Experience with IV sedation, surgical, emergency, critical care, or recovery room nursing is an asset.
- Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Wages: RN wage will be matched with hospital wages
