Job description

We are a mid-size personal injury law office located in Etobicoke. We are looking for a Personal Injury Lawyer with experience in personal injury matters, Accident Benefits and Tort.

Base salary, commission and bonus pay structure.

This position requires a minimum of 3 years experience.

Must have experience in conducting numerous case conferences, motions, discoveries, mediations and hearings.

Responsibilities:

- Handling work proactively on files from intake to resolution
- Completing forms and preparing summaries, applications and settlement proposals
- Preparing pleadings, motions records, mediation memos, pre-trial memo, etc.
- Negotiate settlements
- Knowledge of LAT process
- Effectively track denials, deadlines and timelines

Requirements:

- 3 years of personal injury experience (Must)
- Lawyer (L1 license)




- Knowledge of SABS and Rules of Civil Procedure
- Experience handling files from beginning to end
- Experience in settling claims
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to multitask and maintain high attention to detail

Arabic speaking an asset but not a requirement.

Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
