Location: Dartmouth, NS
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Salary: $45,000 to $47,000 annually
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

About the Role

We are currently seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Aviation Service Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing customer service, service scheduling, administration, inside sales, and logistics responsibilities in a fast-paced aviation environment.

As the Aviation Service Coordinator, you will play a key role in coordinating aviation safety equipment inspections and services, supporting customers, managing service timelines, and ensuring products and documentation are prepared accurately and efficiently.

Key ResponsibilitiesService Coordination

- Schedule aviation equipment inspections and service appointments based on technician availability and customer requirements.
- Communicate accurate service lead times and provide regular updates to clients.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Coordinate technician assignments and monitor workloads to ensure service commitments are met.
- Investigate and resolve customer concerns, escalating issues when necessary.
- Maintain accurate customer records within the company system.

Shipping, Receiving & Administration

- Receive, inspect, and process aviation safety equipment.
- Prepare packing slips, certificates, and shipping documentation.
- Pick, package, and ship customer orders accurately.
- Assist with inventory management and stock control.
- Arrange transportation for customer equipment as required.
- Ensure compliance with Dangerous Goods regulations, including proper handling and labeling.
- Complete service estimates, certifications, reports, and other administrative documentation.
- Help maintain a clean, organized office and warehouse environment.

QualificationsPreferred Education & Experience

- College diploma in Business Administration or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of customer service experience.




- 2 to 3 years of inside sales experience.
- 2+ years of aviation industry experience.
- 1 year of Accounting experience.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License.

Technical Knowledge

Experience with one or more of the following is considered an asset:

- ERP systems such as Syspro
- Inventory management
- Scheduling and purchasing
- Shipping and receiving
- Vendor management
- Dangerous Goods documentation and compliance
- Microsoft Office Suite

Physical Requirements

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
- Comfortable performing physical tasks such as bending, reaching, kneeling, and climbing when required.
- Ability to work in both office and warehouse environments.
- Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including heat, cold, dust, and noise.
