Responsible for deburring, grinding, polishing, and finishing metal parts to meet required quality and appearance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Remove burrs, sharp edges, scratches, and surface imperfections from metal parts.
- Polish, buff, sand, and grind metal surfaces.
- Operate grinders, polishers, sanders, and hand tools safely.
- Inspect finished parts for smoothness, quality, and specifications.
- Follow work orders, drawings, and production requirements.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous deburring, metal polishing, or manufacturing experience is an asset.
- Experience using grinders, polishers, sanders, and hand tools.
- Valuable attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to perform repetitive physical work and handle metal parts safely.
- Reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team.
