Join Our Production Team

Nordtek Trailers manufactures aluminum trailers in Lethbridge, and we’re looking for reliable, hands-on people to join our production team.

Depending on your skills and experience, you may work in aluminum fabrication, material cutting and preparation, band saw operation, fitting and assembly, or other areas of trailer production.

We welcome experienced fabricators as well as candidates from manufacturing, welding, construction, agriculture, mechanics, machine operation, or other hands-on backgrounds. If you’re mechanically inclined, comfortable working with tools, and take pride in doing quality work, we’d like to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

Depending on your experience and assigned production area, you may:

- Measure, mark, cut, drill, and prepare aluminum materials
- Operate band saws and other production equipment
- Use drills, grinders, hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
- Fit and assemble trailer parts and components
- Read and work from measurements, drawings, work orders, and specifications
- Check dimensions and inspect your work for accuracy and quality
- Prepare materials and components for fabrication and welding
- Move and organize materials safely
- Work with other production team members to keep jobs moving efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Experienced candidates may also perform aluminum fabrication, fitting, welding, repairs, and modifications.

- Able to work independently once trained and contribute as part of a team
- Comfortable with the physical demands of a manufacturing environment

Previous experience in fabrication, manufacturing, welding, metalworking, construction, agriculture, mechanics, machine operation, or similar hands-on work is an asset.

Experience with aluminum, band saws, fabrication equipment, blueprints, or technical drawings is also an asset. Welding experience is an asset but is not required for all positions.

A Few Things to Know

Occasional Saturday work may be required depending on production needs.

This is an active, in-person shop-floor position involving standing, bending, lifting, material handling, machinery, and normal manufacturing-shop conditions. Required PPE must be worn.

Reliable transportation is required, as our Lethbridge facility is not conveniently accessible by public transit.
