Riverside Adventures is looking for guides for the upcoming 2027 season. These people will be tasked with customer safety on the river and as such will have the necessary experience and qualifications. Some day to day activities of the guide/ safety boater include: before trip preparation, equipment checks, learning safety talk, aiding in the protected movement of customers on the rafts around the river features, collecting and washing gear used, participation in guide meetings, and learning from the more experienced guides on the team. Wage depends on experience.
Requirements: Wilderness first aid 50hr (80 hr preferred), OFA level 3 will also be considered. Valid class 5 drivers license (class 4 unrestricted preferred). Supply your own river gear (pfd, helmet, river knife, throw bag, flip line, kayak (if you kayak) and cold weather apparel). Big water Class IV and V guiding experience.
