Job Summary

We are seeking Certified Forklift Operators for a short-term temporary assignment in Barrie. This opportunity is ideal for experienced forklift operators who are certified on Counterbalance and Dock Stocker equipment and are comfortable working in a rapid-paced logistics and materials handling environment.

In this role, you will support the setup and organization of a new facility by unloading trailers, receiving materials, checking inventory, and placing products in the correct storage locations. The work environment is team-oriented, safety-focused, and well-suited for reliable operators who take pride in accuracy, communication, and efficient warehouse flow.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate Counterbalance and Dock Stocker forklifts to unload trailers safely and efficiently.




- Receive incoming materials and verify inventory against required documentation.
- Organize materials within the facility and store products in designated locations.
- Support general warehouse setup and movement of materials as needed.
- Lift and move items up to 50 lbs while following safe handling procedures.
- Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors to maintain workflow and safety.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $23.00 per hour.
- Employment type: Temporary contract.
- Assignment length: 2 weeks, from August 17 to August 28.
- Start date: August 17.
- Available shifts:
- Days: 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Afternoons: 4:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.
