Job Summary

Join our dynamic veterinary team as a Veterinary Assistant and Receptionist, where your enthusiasm and compassionate nature will make a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and their owners. In this role, you will be the friendly face greeting clients, managing appointment schedules, and assisting veterinarians with clinical tasks. Responsibilities

- Welcome clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism, creating a positive first impression.
- Manage appointment scheduling efficiently to optimize the clinic’s daily workflow.
- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with clinical procedures, including restraint, sample collection, and basic laboratory tasks.
- Maintain accurate patient records, update medical histories, and ensure confidentiality.
- Handle phone inquiries, provide information about services, and coordinate follow-up appointments.
- Support laboratory work by preparing samples and assisting with basic testing procedures when needed.




- Keep the reception area organized, clean, and stocked with necessary supplies to ensure a welcoming environment for clients and staff.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in a veterinary setting or laboratory workplace is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with clients and team members.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassionate attitude toward animals and their owners, combined with a positive, energetic demeanor.
- Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures is a plus, helping to support diagnostic processes effectively.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with animal handling.

Pay: $18.25-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
