Amherst Supply Ltd. is a family-owned and operated store in the lumber, building supply, and agricultural feed industries. We’re currently looking for a reliable and hardworking individual with a positive attitude to join our team as a Yard/Warehouse Associate. This is a physically active role that's ideal for someone who enjoys steady, hands-on work, being outdoors, and contributing to a supportive team workplace.

Duties Include:

· Strap, tarp and squarely stack lifts of lumber

· Retrieve product and materials in accordance with the customer order and load into customers vehicles.

· Manage and control of product flow.

· Accuracy in picking orders.

· Receiving incoming products.

· Maintains a tidy and professional work area at all times

· Health & Safety conscious

· Prepare material orders for shipping

· Load and unload trucks with forklift (Follow forklift operating guidelines and procedures)





· Work with other team members in an organized and efficient manner

· Assist with inventory management.

· Performs other duties as required by management

Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements:

· Previous warehouse/yard experience is an asset.

· Knowledge of building products is an asset

· Forklift experience

· Ability to work in all weather conditions

· Reliable, punctual and safety conscious with a teamwork attitude

- G License is an asset

- Must be available to work Saturday

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour
