About the Opportunity
InstaCares.com is a local childcare marketplace connecting families with trusted babysitters, home childcare providers, and Early Childhood Educators (ECEs) across Waterloo Region. As an independent provider, you set your own hourly rates, choose your schedule, and accept bookings that match your availability.

- Responsibilities & Platform Standards: Provide safe, nurturing, and engaging care for children based on family routines.
- Maintain Accurate Availability: Keep your weekly calendar up-to-date so parents only book when you are truly open.
- Timely Communication: Monitor SMS and platform notifications; respond to parent inquiries and accept/decline booking requests promptly (within 12–24 hours).
- Reliability: Honor confirmed bookings and arrive punctually for scheduled shifts.

Qualifications





- 18 years of age or older and legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Previous experience in babysitting, nannying, daycare, camp counselling, or home childcare.
- Mandatory: Able to provide a valid Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening before your profile goes live.
- Standard First Aid & CPR-C certification (Asset / Verified Badge).ECE Diploma or formal early childhood education training (Asset / Verified Badge).
- Licensed or unlicensed home daycare providers welcome.
