Summary

We are seeking full-time Emergency Mitigation and Abatement Restoration Technicians to join our team. Our Restoration Technicians are responsible for completing the labour tasks involved after a disaster event, and ensuring jobs are completed in a timely manner and to the highest standards, in a quickly changing work environment.

General Duties

- Follow work orders to carry out all necessary mitigation and abatement restoration work (e.g., extract water from residential homes and commercial buildings)
- Demolition of affected areas as instructed by Lead and/or the Project Manager
- Pack, list, clean, and dispose of contents and furniture, which can include lifting and carrying heavy loads
- Must be able to participate in a rotational on-call schedule and periodically attend to after-hours emergency calls (24/7/365)

Qualifications





- Experience in restoration and cleaning services is an asset
- Proficiency with hand and power tools used in construction
- Ability to meet the physical demands of medium (frequent) to heavy (infrequent) level work
- Robust attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Asbestos remediation experience is required for Abatement Technicians
- Basic knowledge of construction practices is an asset
- IICRC certifications are an asset (e.g., WRT, FSRT, Mold, etc.)
- Must have valid Class 5 driver's license and clean driving abstract (for 3 years prior)
