A degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education from a recognized Ontario post-secondary institution

A registered member in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators

Post diploma experience working in a licensed child care with children 3 - 30 months of age

Experience programming in a play-based, emergent environment, supportive of children and their families

- Experience with the CCEYA, Elect, How Does Learning Happen and the AQI
- A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and caring personality
- Ability to adhere to all centre policies
- Ability to produce assessments, evaluations, portfolios and document using ELECT
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels in a professional and confident manner, including ability to ensure effective and positive interactions with families, management and colleagues
- Demonstrate mature judgment, personal accountability and diplomacy in all interactions
- Ability to lift up to 20 kg (44 lbs.), bending and stooping,



pushing, carrying and pulling
- English communication skills both verbal and written are necessary
- Current CPR and First Aid Certificate
- A clear health assessment, negative TB test and up to date immunization shots including COVID vaccines
- Transparent Police Reference Check within the last 6 months

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00-$28.00 per hour
