Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Helical Pile Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be instrumental in assisting with the installation of helical piles—deep foundation elements that provide stability for various structures. Your energetic approach and attention to safety will ensure efficient operations on-site, supporting the successful completion of projects. This position offers an excellent chance to develop hands-on skills in heavy equipment operation and construction processes within a collaborative environment.

Duties

- Assist with the setup and preparation of work sites for helical pile installation, including organizing tools and materials.
- Support the operation of heavy machinery such as loaders, excavators, backhoes, and cranes to facilitate pile installation tasks.
- Help position and stabilize helical piles using appropriate equipment under supervision.
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery like dozers, loaders, and farm machinery to ensure safe and proper functioning.
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including wearing protective gear and adhering to site safety procedures.




- Collaborate with team members to execute tasks efficiently, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues by providing basic maintenance support and reporting problems promptly.

Skills

- Experience operating heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, backhoes, cranes, and dozers.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with construction sites and understanding of safety standards in a construction environment.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license is required for transportation.

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 60.0 per week
