Part-Time Medical Office Assistant (MOA)

White Rock Footcare Clinic is a busy and growing multidisciplinary foot health clinic looking for an experienced, friendly and organized part-time Medical Office Assistant to join our team.

This position will work approximately three 4-hour shifts per week alongside our existing administrator and healthcare team.

We are looking for someone who is confident working independently, enjoys interacting with patients and can stay calm and organized in a busy clinic environment.

Responsibilities

- Greeting and checking patients in and out
- Answering phones, texts and emails
- Booking, changing and cancelling appointments
- Processing payments and issuing receipts
- Managing patient information and intake forms
- Communicating with practitioners and patients
- Assisting with general clinic organization and administrative tasks
- Helping maintain an organized and welcoming front desk
- Following up on voicemails and patient requests
- Using Jane App for scheduling, billing and patient management

What We're Looking For

- Previous MOA, medical reception or healthcare administration experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills




- Comfortable with computers and learning new software
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to prioritize when phones, patients and practitioners require attention at the same time
- Reliable, organized and able to work independently
- Comfortable working with seniors and patients who may require a little extra time and patience
- Experience with Jane App is a strong asset

Hours

Approximately 12 hours per week – three 4-hour shifts.

Willingness to work occasional additional hours to provide vacation or sick coverage.

Compensation

$24–$30 per hour, depending on relevant experience.
