Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role is essential to ensure smooth kitchen operations and uphold high standards of food safety and hygiene. Responsibilities
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently and thoroughly
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas throughout shifts
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and prep work
- Ensure proper storage of clean dishes and kitchen supplies according to safety standards
- Follow all health and safety regulations to uphold sanitation standards
- Support the kitchen team during busy hours by providing timely assistance with cleaning duties
- Help with waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with facility policies
Requirements
- Prior experience in restaurant, hotel, or food service environments is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, food handling, and sanitation protocols
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards
- Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced setting
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings or weekends if required
