We're hiring a Journeyperson Mechanic in Windsor!

Availability for all 3 shifts (days, afternoons and midnights) required

$49.26/hr starting wage

Responsibilities:
*
Maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair stationary and mobile industrial equipment

*
Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and low-voltage electrical systems

*
Complete installations, adjustments, disassembly, repairs, and reassembly of mechanical components

*
Read and interpret hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical schematics, fabrication drawings, and technical prints

*
Troubleshoot and repair crushers, screeners, conveyors, and other mining equipment

*
Perform power transmission and equipment alignment procedures

*
Perform welding, cutting, grinding, and fabrication tasks

*
Follow Lock Out/Tag Out procedures and maintain a safe, hazard-free workplace

Requirements:
*




Valid 421A – Heavy Duty Equipment Technician or 310T – Truck and Coach Technician certification required

*
Minimum 3 years of mechanic experience preferred

*
Completion of an accredited Skilled Trades Ontario program required

*
Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting and repair

*
Experience troubleshooting and repairing diesel engines

*
Proficiency with low-voltage electrical systems

*
Knowledge of crushers, screeners, conveyors, and industrial mining equipment

*
Knowledge of power transmission and alignment procedures
