Overview
We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Food and Beverage Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring our guests enjoy outstanding service while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly, take their orders accurately, and serve food and beverages promptly
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring all items meet quality and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen spaces in compliance with food safety regulations
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage time effectively to handle multiple tables or orders efficiently during busy periods




- Support the team with food handling, serving, and basic kitchen tasks as needed

Requirements

- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations
- Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with food preparation or kitchen work is a plus
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Hospitality background or restaurant experience is advantageous
