Responsibilities

- Assist the Concrete Foreman in coordinating daily construction activities on site
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience
- Valid G license and if valid D or other license is a benefit. Willing to learn and take the D driving training and test but must be able to pass Ontario Physical exam
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and layout plans
- Able to cary out small jobs without the help of a Senior Foreman present.
- Technical Skills
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Measuring and layout work accurately.
- Able to do layout and measurements
- Using hand tools and power tools safely.
- Understanding building codes and construction standards.
- Basic math and geometry for measurements and angles.
- Concrete formwork and foundation work (depending on the type of construction).
- Able to instruct and guide labourers onsite.
- Take direction and run small tasks without the help with a senior foreman




- Support supervision of concrete pouring, finishing, and curing processes to ensure adherence to project specifications
- Help monitor project progress, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule and within budget
- Conduct quality control checks by inspecting materials, workmanship, and schematics to maintain high standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to support accurate execution of work
- Use construction management software such as ProCore or Primavera P6 to track project milestones and document site activities
- Support safety protocols by conducting site inspections and ensuring compliance with safety regulations
- Able to order concrete for small jobs

Skills

- Proven supervisory experience in construction or concrete projects
- Skilled in blueprint reading and interpreting schematics for accurate project execution
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and construction estimating techniques
- Ability to assist with budgeting tasks and resource allocation effectively
- Familiarity with construction safety standards and protocols
