Responsibilities

- Safely operate commercial vehicles, including trucks and vans, to deliver freight across designated routes
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or heavy machinery when necessary
- Verify shipment contents against delivery manifests, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Maintain detailed records of deliveries, including mileage logs, delivery times, and any incidents or delays
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate delivery schedules




- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure safety standards are met and perform basic automotive repairs if needed
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure safe transportation at all times

Qualifications

- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, or other industrial machinery is highly preferred
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and logistics operations
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and troubleshooting
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and record keeping
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual tasks regularly
- Prior experience in commercial driving or delivery roles is advantageous
