Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook/kitchen helper to join our dynamic Back of house team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking dishes, dishwashing and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills in a rapid-paced restaurant environment while contributing to a memorable dining experience for our guests. Prior food service experience and a passion for the food industry are highly valued.

Duties

- Prepare and portion ingredients for menu items, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in meal preparation
- Cook and assemble dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including food handling and sanitation procedures
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking supplies and rotating stock to minimize waste
- Follow all food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe dining environment
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods by providing timely assistance with meal preparation, plating and dishwashing




- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction

Qualifications

- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service is preferred, especially within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong understanding of meal preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or evenings if required
- Passion for delivering quality food and exceptional customer service
- Good English communication skills
