Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tire and Lube Technician to join our team across our four Lower Mainland locations. This position involves performing essential tire and lubrication services to ensure the safe operation of vehicles. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in tire installation, maintenance, and oil changes, with a focus on providing high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Tire Services:
- Install, balance, and repair tires on a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and SUVs.
- Inspect tire tread depth and condition, checking for wear and damage.
- Rotate tires and ensure proper inflation levels.
- Perform tire pressure checks and apply tire sealant as needed.
- Assist with inventory management of tires and tire-related products.
- Lubrication Services:
- Change oil and filter for various types of vehicles.
- Check and top off other fluids, including transmission, brake, and power steering fluid.
- Ensure proper disposal of used oil and filters according to environmental standards.
- Inspect and maintain lubrication systems, including grease points.
- General Vehicle Maintenance:
- Conduct basic vehicle inspections to identify potential mechanical issues.




- Report any abnormal conditions or issues to the service manager or technicians.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and equipment.
- Customer Service:
- Provide courteous and professional service to customers, answering any questions they may have about tire or lubrication services.
- Explain recommended services and maintenance options to customers.
- Assist in promoting services and products to customers as appropriate.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in automotive technology is a plus.
- Previous experience in tire installation, maintenance, or oil change services preferred.
- Basic understanding of vehicle systems and components.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $18.50-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
