About the Opportunity

We are seeking motivated individuals who are interested in gaining practical field experience while supporting IT projects.

This prospect is open to final-year students, recent graduates, experienced IT technicians, independent contractors, retired IT professionals, and local computer repair businesses.

Assignments are flexible and based on your location, availability, and project requirements.

Assignments May Include:

- Desktop and laptop installations
- Hardware upgrades and replacements
- PC deployments and imaging
- Monitor and peripheral installations
- Printer setup and troubleshooting
- Basic networking and connectivity support
- Cable management
- Technology refresh projects
- Asset replacements
- Onsite technical support
- Equipment relocation and installation
- General desktop troubleshooting

Preferred Qualifications

- Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems
- Experience installing desktops, laptops, printers, or peripherals
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 is considered an asset

- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Professional and reliable attitude
- Previous enterprise field experience is an asset but is not required. Training will be provided.

Requirements

- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Valid driver's licence is an asset
- Access to reliable transportation is preferred
- Ability to travel within your local service area
- Ability to lift and move computer equipment when required

Compensation

Compensation is provided on a per-assignment basis and varies depending on the scope, location, and complexity of each project.
