Renovation Labourer / Apartment Renovation Helper

Location: Thunder Bay, ON

Job Type: Full-time or Part-timePay: $20.00–$24.00 per hour, depending on experience

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Renovation Labourer / Helper to assist with ongoing apartment renovations and property improvement projects throughout the winter.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, is dependable, and is interested in gaining more experience in renovations and construction.

You will be working under the direction of an experienced renovation/maintenance worker and assisting with a variety of apartment renovation projects.

Responsibilities

- Demolition and removal of old materials
- Job site cleanup and organization
- Moving and loading construction materials
- Painting and surface preparation
- Assisting with drywall repairs
- Assisting with flooring installation
- Installing or assisting with trim and baseboards
- Helping with doors, cabinets, fixtures and other finishing work
- General apartment turnover work
- Basic property maintenance
- Assisting the lead worker as required

Qualifications

- Renovation or construction experience is an asset, but not required
- Must be reliable and show up on time




- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Comfortable performing physical work
- Able to lift and move construction materials
- Ability to work independently when given basic tasks
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation are considered strong assets
- Basic hand tools are an asset but not required
