Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Class 1 Truck Driver to join our transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating commercial trucks to transport freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Responsibilities

- Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks for local and regional freight deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload freight using forklifts and other heavy equipment, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and fluid levels, to guarantee optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.




- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshoot mechanical issues as needed to minimize downtime and ensure vehicle reliability.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly.
- Operate forklifts safely within warehouse environments to facilitate efficient loading and unloading processes.

Skills

- preferred Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid Class 1 license.
- Proficiency in forklift operation and freight handling techniques.
- Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operation and safety protocols.
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients.
